Resumes

Tired of your current 9-5 but can’t seem to get an interview? Maybe it’s your resume. Or maybe you’re a recent or soon-to-be grad ready to enter the workforce. Either way, you’ve heard all the advice:

• Use your cover letter to tell them what you can do
• Make sure you use the right keywords

But for many people, that’s overwhelming. Looking for a new position is like a part-time job itself. Between work, school, family, and friends, who really has time to write an individual resume for each and every position they’re applying for? The truth is, not many do. Those who do undertake the monumental task are quickly overloaded with the overwhelming amount of (often conflicting) resume advice a Google search gives. Too many people end up with a standard template listing off what they’ve done out of sheer frustration with the task.

For others, it’s hard to talk about themselves or find the perfect way to express who they are.
